Workshops for Sellers

Our workshops for sellers combine BidWrite’s own practical experiences from thousands of tender submissions with our access to a network of leading proposal practitioners around the world. This comes from our very active participation in the industry best practice organisation the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP). Standard workshops include:

  • Beginning to Win: For small to medium businesses that are not yet familiar with tendering or have limited knowledge.
  • APMP Foundation Certification Training: The APMP Certification programme is the only professional qualification designed specifically for proposal management professionals. This training programme helps candidates prepare for and then take the Foundation level examination – all in one day. It covers all the content as approved by the APMP. The programme is aimed at those who have worked in a bids or proposals environment for at least a year (this is an entry requirement for the exam) as well as experienced bid managers who wish to progress to the Practitioner and Professional levels. BidWrite is the only company authorised to run Foundation Level Training in Australia for the APMP and we do it under our UK partner, Strategic Proposals.
  • Strategic Positioning to Win: For people already familiar with tendering but looking for advanced positioning and pursuit strategies in advance of important tender opportunities.
  • Persuasive Writing to Win: For people wanting to learn how to write compelling tender submissions with a well-articulated story that gives you an unfair advantage with buyers. This is BidWrite’s most popular course.
  • Bid Management to Win: Too often Bid Managers are thrust into the role because they are “available”, not because they have the best skills.
  • Live Tender Workshops: For bid teams requiring focus and alignment at the start of a bid on how to strategically plan, execute and win a particular tender opportunity.
  • Survey Based Training: An interactive and tailored service for organisations seeking specific information about their submissions. It is ideally suited for those in the Not-for-Profit sector interested in discussing tenders with an expert and in the company of other colleagues.
  • Coaching and Mentoring Program: Ideal for accelerated learning for a key bid or business development executive in your organisation. This one-on-one coaching and mentoring program with a senior BidWrite executive ensures your organisation always has access to best practice and provides your key staff member with all the support and guidance that he or she might need. This program is ideal for new appointments in the critical first 6 to 12 months in an organisation.

Workshops are typically either a half day or a full day, but can be shorter or longer by tailoring to suit to any organisation’s particular needs.
