Cyber Daily editor Liam Garman extended his congratulations to all finalists.

“AI is revolutionising the way Australian businesses are delivering for their customers and achieving critical productivity gains. This event is about recognising champions across the industry who drive innovation from financial services to defence and law, and recognising how they have transformed the way that we work. I applaud all of our finalists and look forward to celebrating their amazing accomplishments at the Australian AI Awards in November.”

Embracing AI to strengthen the proposal profession

BidWrite CEO Nigel Dennis was proud to be recognised as a 2024 finalist, earning a place for himself and BidWriteGPT alongside a high calibre of talented individuals and innovative organisations.

BidWriteGPT arose from Nigel’s ‘Kodak moment’, in which he saw the potential of AI technology’s application to bidding (and the risks of ignoring it) through the lens of Kodak’s failure to embrace digital photography. He knew BidWrite would have to choose: get with the generative AI program ASAP, or ignore it and hope for the best.

Thankfully, Nigel knows that hope is not a strategy. So together with our partners at GPTStrategic, we developed a generative AI-powered technology platform that brings decades of tendering experience to your fingertips. BidWriteGPT injects expertise, consistency and efficiency into every bid.

“Being shortlisted in not one, but two categories of the Australian AI Awards 2024 is a humbling acknowledgement of the hard work of many people in our business. We’ve created a unique solution to some of bidding’s biggest challenges. This accolade recognises our dedication to creating efficiency for our clients, and our ongoing efforts to strengthen and elevate the proposal profession.”

– Nigel Dennis, BidWrite CEO

Winners of the Australian AI Awards will be announced at a black-tie gala at the Four Seasons Sydney on Wednesday, 6 November 2024.
