BidWrite Shortlisted For Defence Consultancy Of The Year
We are pleased to announce that BidWrite was last week named as a finalist in the Australian Defence Industry Awards, for the Consultancy of the Year category.
Out of more than 100 submissions in this category, only 10 defence consultancies in Australia were shortlisted – with BidWrite being the only tendering specialist making the cut.
We also congratulate 11 of our valued clients who were announced as finalists in various categories.
The Australian Defence Industry Awards, facilitated by Defence Connect, is the premier awards event for the nation’s defence sector. The awards recognise and celebrate leading professionals and businesses providing crucial services and support to the Australian Defence Force.
With 32 categories covering both individuals and firms, the awards acknowledge the contributions of all defence industry stakeholders and are used to benchmark excellence in service delivery.
The Consultancy of the Year category specifically acknowledges outstanding defence consultancies that have made major contributions to support and strengthen Australia’s defence and national security capabilities.
NSM a key example of BidWrite’s excellence in Defence proposals
Being shortlisted is fantastic recognition for BidWrite’s consultants who have worked closely with various defence suppliers and contractors to develop compelling proposals that offer comprehensive value for money solutions for the Commonwealth.
A prime example of our success in the previous 12 months is our work with Naval Ship Management (NSM), where our expertise and intimate knowledge of defence tendering helped win a $1.5 billion contract for the provision of engineering, maintenance, supply support and asset management services for two Landing Helicopter Dock ships (LHDs) and 12 landing craft.
“This shortlisting demonstrates BidWrite’s capabilities and expertise in assisting the Australian defence industry win important work, as well as the value we bring to ensure the Commonwealth receives proposals that deliver the best outcomes for the Australian Defence Force,” said David Lunn, BidWrite Principal and Chief Operating Officer.
The winners will be announced at a five-star gala dinner on Thursday, 26 September at the Australian Institute of Sport, ACT.
