Last night we were proud to receive Australian Defence Industry Awards in two categories, Consultancy of the Year and Consultant of the Year.
Recognising people and businesses, rather than products and platforms, Defence Connect’s Australian Defence Industry Awards universally acknowledge all defence industry stakeholders – from primes, SMEs, academic institutions and associations, through to high-performing individuals.
BidWrite named Consultancy of the Year
This award recognises the consultancy that has most effectively driven demonstrable business growth, while supporting the strengthening of Australia’s defence and national security capabilities.
Being named Consultancy of the Year is clear recognition of the strategic, work-winning contributions BidWrite has made to Australian businesses, particularly building the capability of local SMEs seeking to work with Defence.
BidWrite works closely with select Defence primes and SMEs in Australia, playing a pivotal role in helping businesses win new work.
But as noted by BidWrite Principal David Lunn, “Our success is enabled by having fantastic Defence clients who trust us to help them win important contracts. We wholeheartedly thank and share this success with those organisations we work with every day.”
Principal Dr Rodger Manning named Consultant of the Year
This award recognises the consultant who has delivered outstanding work for their organisation, while supporting the strengthening of Australia’s defence and national security capabilities through their participation in the Defence industry.
BidWrite Principal Rodger Manning was proud to be recognised as one of the industry’s leading consultants, signifying that the proposal profession is becoming increasingly valued by the Defence industry.
Over recent years, Rodger has had a significant impact on the Defence industry, particularly for helping organisations develop strong Australian Industry Capability Strategies that meet the expectations of both Defence and the Australian SME community.
Rodger is also a prominent and active advocate for the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP), the peak international body for bid and proposal professionals, and holds its highest possible certification.
“I firmly believe that globally certified bid professionals will continually raise the quality of Defence tender submissions, providing more clarity and less risk for Defence procurement. In turn, this will contribute to a stronger and more resilient ADF. As such, this award is for the profession as much as it is for me”
